How to use the Wheel of Life. Shade in the percentage of satisfaction you have in each area. Once you shade in the chart choose one or two areas that have the least amount of shading and that is what you will focus on this month as we go through the program. Baby steps will allow you to have greater success, instead of trying to change everything at once. You can do this. If you have any questions email me at Michelle@Michellefinncoaching.com.

The importance of this exercise is to find out what causes you stress and what brings you peace. The best way to do this is to meditate. Before you start I want you ask this question… Please show me what causes me stress and what brings me peace. what tools do I possess that will help me cultivate the peace during stressful times? Just put it out into the universe. After your meditation I want you to immediately journal. Don’t think about what you are writing the only thing that you need to remember is that question. Allow whatever comes out to flow. Do not correct your spelling or overthink what you write. Fill out this worksheet How does your energy feel before and after this exercise. You may be suprise how your answers change.

Now that you see how your energy feels it’s time to start to recognize how what calms youe spirit. What takes you out of that fight or flight mode? I want you to right a list of activities that you enjoy doing for yourself, and how they make you feel when you are doing them.

Example: Read - Helps me escape to another reality

If your life doesn’t allow you to take a big break from your kiddos here are a few things that you can do from home. Give yourself 30 minutes a day, You can break that up into 10 minutes three times a day, 15 minutes twice a day, or take the entire 30 minutes if you are able. This is crucial to begin to reduce the overwhelm. Making yourself a priority is essential.

You can combine many of these together. The last one is Create a Daily Routine. Creating a routine around self care helps it become a habit, and and not a struggle.

For example if you choose to take a bath you can add some essential oils to the water, turn off your phone, put on a face mask and listen to a guided mediation. That is a form of self care.

You can choose something form this list or choose to do something else, just make sure to take time for yourself.
